Job Description

Are you a caring Primary teacher looking for opportunities teaching Year 3 Are you open to roles within TraffordTradewind are working with a lovely Trafford primary school who are looking for a friendly, and knowledgeable teacher to join their team, teaching one of their Year 3 class classes. This welcoming Ofsted rated Good school in Trafford has an excellent reputationin the local community due to their dedication to childrens well-being and mental health. You will be required from after February Half Term 2022 until the end of the academic year. As the year 3 teacher, you will benefit from an above market pay rate basedon their experience and the role.The school believe that children should be excited about their learning. To enable this, staff engage their children in a creative, engaging curriculum, surrounded by a bright and stimulating environment. Children are encouraged to take calculated risks,experience and accept failure and success, and show resilience and adaptability. Allowing them to build their ability to solve the problems they face, both in school and in life.As one of the Year 3 teacher you need to establish a fun and safe learning environment in which the children are free to realise their full potential whilst developing the skills to learn independently. You will also be responsible for:

  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupils attainment and personal development
  • Build strong working relationships with your partner teacher and other class teachers
  • Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
  • Encouraging pupils to express their opinions, thoughts and feelings
  • Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
  • Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.
We are looking for applicants who have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A commitment to child development and learning
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • The right to work in the U.K
