Job Description

Aspire People working with are working closely with a primary school in Manchester who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work both with small groups and 1:1 with pupils who have been diagnosed Autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be working in an inclusive school that offers a broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils throughout the school. The role is to start ASAP and in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities* Providing one-to-one support to pupils with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with SENQualifications and Experience:UK experience working with pupil with Autism and SEND is highly desirable.Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree relevant to the role is preferred but not essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Commitment to promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment.If you are a caring, friendly and patient individual seeking to gain experience within the special needs sector then this could be just the kind of role youre looking for.
