Job Description

Page Personnel are recruiting for a Pricing and Margin Analyst to join an international manufacturing business based in Trafford ParkThis role will involve business partnering with the commercial & financial teams and will involve advising on margins & maximising profits.Client DetailsPage Personnel are recruiting this Pricing and Margin Analyst on behalf of an international manufacturing business based in Trafford Park.Our client offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits & the chance to work as part of a supportive and well established business.DescriptionPricing and Margin Analyst duties include:

  • Providing support in Business development by delivering thorough Strategic P&L reporting and analysis
  • Providing multi-site RFQ coordination and preparation
  • (management) Reporting on accurate commercial information and insights of sales numbers for Free of charge deliveries, MOQs, low margins, cost reports and ad-hoc reports
  • Variance analysis (Volumes/revenue/Margin) vs Budgeted and forecasted sales figures.
  • Identification of margin leakage and proposing actions to improve margins
  • Managing and improving pricing tools, policies and processes
  • Maintaining, innovating and monitoring the EMEA price book and ensure keeping the margins healthy
  • Managing and monitoring Commercial Delegation of Authorities and propose improvements
  • Driving regional price increase campaigns and ensure targeted increases are met by tracking it
  • Partnering with the business related to Key account prices and price lists
  • Deploying Indexation models (price trackers) and follow up on indexation performance
  • Managing the contract lifecycle, coordination and commercial set up, such as TCO/Bonus/prices, and ensure execution of the contract
  • Supporting SOX pricing controls and audit compliancy
  • Set up KPIs to measure and improve commercial performance (targeted margin improvement)
  • Act as back-up for the other Pricing and margin teams in times of illness, holidays etc.
ProfileThe successful candidate will:
  • Have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a proven track record working in a multi site and / or international business
  • Have advanced Excel, reporting & presentation skills
  • Have strong office 365 skills
  • Be analytical and proactive
Job OfferA salary up to £37,000 & an excellent benefits package
