Practice Senior in ManchesterA highly successful and growing Accountancy Practice based in Manchester is currently recruiting a qualified, or nearly qualified ACCA/ ACA Practice Senior to join their business with excellent career progression opportunities.This is a great chance for an experienced Accounts Senior looking to join a friendly and highly successful accountancy practice.About the companyOur client are a fast growing and highly successful accountancy practice in Manchester. They service a varied client base includingowner managed businesses and mid-sized companies.About the role Joining as a Practice Senior, you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts and general practice services to a varied client base. Therefore, a solid background preparing accounts, for clients ranging in size from small sole traders, partnershipsand limited companies is essential.The Practice Senior will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders up to the audit threshold.
  • Preparing tax computations.
  • Providing bookkeeping services.
  • Filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on clients behalf.
  • Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • General admin duties to provide support to partner, managers and the office.
