Job Description

PPC Manager - Manchester (Hybrid Working) - Up to £65,000We are delighted to have partnered with a household name brand and widely favoured high-street retailer.As part of an exciting initiative for 2024, we are hiring multiple Performance Marketing roles with this role playing a keypart in their Paid Search efforts across the UK.The PPC Specialist will define and drive the company’s Performance Strategy for Paid Search. They will have the balance of owning performance delivery with previous hands-on experience trading PPC, identifying opportunities for growth, as well as technicalability and a passion for analysis and measurement.Leading a team of PPC experts, they also work in close partnership with their Agency team and nurture direct relationships with key stakeholders.The business is a well-regarded employer and offer a detailed benefits package designed with the individual in mind.We’re actively interviewing for this role, register your interest today!Roles and Responsibilities of the PPC Manager:

  • Lead the internalization of Paid Search operations for this prominent UK retailer, overseeing a team of seven top-tier Paid Search professionals.
  • Cultivate Tier One strategic partnerships with essential Paid Search collaborators, such as Google and Bing.
  • Collaborate with the Performance Media Manager to devise and implement the PPC Strategy and future plan for the business, contributing to a comprehensive Performance Media Strategy.
  • Assume responsibility for delivering and executing outstanding Paid Search practices, refining best practices for the company, and harnessing automation and technology.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to effectively translate business priorities into actionable PPC strategies in partnership with relevant entities.
  • Take the lead in evaluating and integrating cutting-edge Paid Search Technology to enhance capabilities, incorporating 1st party data, advanced bidding techniques, or feed segmentation.
  • Oversee the accurate reporting and deployment of a substantial PPC budget.
Whats required:
  • Proven experience managing extensive PPC accounts, either in an agency setting or in-house for a major brand.
  • Strong preference for experience in managing people or teams.
  • Results-driven with a keen focus on details, adept at budget management, and skilled in data analysis.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, adept at identifying growth opportunities and solution-focused problem-solving.
  • Ability to confidently engage and communicate with colleagues at all levels, key suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen, with negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Self-motivated with a genuine passion for PPC and the broader digital marketing landscape.
