Heard of usWere an award-winning bank; backing people to fulfil lifes hopes and dreams.Now is your chance…The Portfolio Governance Office is responsible for the oversight of the change agenda within Aldermore, from the selection of which projects to invest in, the good governance of those projects, and the realisation of their benefits afterwards. The PMO analyst will join the PMO team which supports the good governance of projects underway in Aldermore. Supporting the PMO Manager/s, Programme and Project Managers to execute their governance responsibilities and create and maintain project and programme artefacts, support governance rigor and work with other control functions to assure project execution quality.The role of PMO Analyst is really important to us. You will be embedded within a large finance transformation programme and responsible for establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of the programme over a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Manchester office. In the meantime you will be based remotely. Youll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager Lead PMO Analyst and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.What would your day look like

  • Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of projects and/or programmes and/or portfolios, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with organisational practice
  • Co-ordinate and manage reviews at appropriate points during and after projects and/or programmes in portfolios, which will inform their governance by providing evaluations of progress, methodologies and continuing relevance
  • Preparing and maintaining schedules of project and/or programme activities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
  • Creating and updating resources allocations plans (other than finance) needed for projects taking account of availabilities and scheduling
  • Cost management for projects and/or programmes: including timesheet tracking, resource verification, 3rd party cost tracking, PO raising and tracking
  • Organising, documenting project kick-off workshops
  • What do we expect of you
  • Previous experience within a PMO Analyst role
  • Ideally experience of being embedded in a large complex programme of work
  • Ability to own deliverables including completing RAID logs, managing cost trackers and assigning resources across the programme
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Prior experience of engaging with and managing a range of stakeholders
