Job Description

Role: Planning Scheduler - 6 month FTCLocation: WythenshawePackage: £23,000 - 26,000 salary pa, Up to 12% Pension, Health Care, and other Flexible benefitsMake an impact doing work you can be proud of and contributing to a global mission to enhance safety standards with integrity and help us create a brighter future, shaping a world of trust, and a safer society for us all.Role PurposeThis role is responsible for planning inspections for engineers using a dedicated Salesforce planning system. To manage work already scheduled and action in-day and short-term changes to work schedules to ensure that agreed engineer utilisation and clientspecific SLA targets are achievedA key part of this role will be to proactively communicate with our customers so they know when their inspection is taking place.The role requires attention to detail, an assertive approach and is fast paced. There are both inbound and outbound calls, third party and customer contact including taking escalation calls from customers where there has been an issue which needs to be escalatedand resolved quickly.Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with operational teams, third parties, engineers, area managers and customers to manage the delivery of the work schedule in line with targets
  • Working to service level targets for engineer utilisation and customer specific requirements to produce a fully optimised schedule
  • Use of our planning tool Salesforce Field Service to prioritise and schedule the right inspections for our engineers
  • Monitoring of schedules to ensure that inspections are completed in line with expected timescales
  • Delivery of a high quality of service through outstanding customer service levels and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Jeopardy management of the workload, moving or changing work schedules in real time as priorities change to meet customer and business need
  • Produce reports to reflect performance against utilisation targets and to highlight unplanned inspections by team so these can be investigated
  • To make calls to customers to update them on changes to their appointment or to confirm planned visits
  • To deal with customer escalations professionally, seeking management support to resolve quickly
  • To explain any instructions to clients which may be useful to help them prepare for their inspection
  • Escalate any resource issues or schedule conflicts in a timely fashion to the appropriate manager
  • Manage and prioritise own workload considering your own objectives and those of the wider team
About you
  • Excellent administration and customer service skills, ideally gained in a customer facing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy office environment
  • Good systems skills and ability to work with data
  • Excellent communication skills on the phone, in person and in writing
  • Attention to detail to spot changes or issues early
  • An assertive approach with the confidence to articulate your ideas and opinions
  • Driven to deliver to a high standard for our customers and the business
