Field based PIA Manager (Manchester)£25,000 - £35,000 p.a DOE (Hybrid Working)I am pleased to be working with a Telecoms company based in Manchester who is ideally looking for a PIA Manager. The successful candidate will be required to ensure compliance in line with PIA and Openreach Engineering Principles in the field. You willcarry out audits and make recommendations to ensure compliance. Additional responsibilities include:- Ensure compliance with specified H&S standards and PIA Engineering Principles.- Periodically conduct reviews and audits to ensure PIA compliance standards.- Conducting interviews and asks questions to make sure employees in the field remain compliant.- Writing and distributing documentation that educates others on how to improve compliance.- Maintain detail records of compliance assessments and notify management of conditions that do not meet quality standards.- Work closely with build teams to create a safe working environment.- Audit the Network as set out in the PIA Audits and Engineering Principles.- Check & validate queries and take photos in aid of PIA field support.- Willing to travel anywhere in Northern England.Must Have:- Previous experience operating on the Openreach Network (desirable) or another telecommunications providers network.- Ability to audit field work that is both in-progress and retro-perspective.- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of HSG47 & NRSWA working practices.- Ability to identity unsafe working practices and educate personnel on best practice.- Safe working practices when dealing with hazards in the workplace.- Experience in coaching of staff.- Demonstrate a sound ability to learn technical knowledge relating to company products and services.- Full PIA accreditations for OH and UG infrastructure (desirable) - training can be provided if needed.- Previous auditing experience for a telecommunications firm (desirable).- UK Driving License.If you believe you have the correct skillset to succeed and deliver within this role please apply or send your CV to
