Job Description

Digital PHP, WordPress Full Stack Developer - 100% remote - £30k-£45k As an experienced PHP Full Stack Developer you will be working for a highly successful, privately owned Ecommerce group on defining the digital development roadmap across their supplier brands.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a complete UX overhaul of a number of their sites, you will be playing a key role as part of the development team on changing the look, feel and usability of a number of Ecommerce sites.The client has a very collaborative environment and as a Full stack developer you will be working closely with the Front end team and the UI/UX designers to delivery the best possible consumer experience.Your role will involve:PHP Full stack development for Ecommerce sites.

  • Managing existing and upcoming websites and Ecommerce platforms across the group.
  • Helping with the research and planning stages through to wireframes, design and development through to test and launch - taking ownership of the project.
  • Working closely with the marketing, front end development and design team to deliver the best experience.
  • Assist with facilitating and maintaining each websites SEO strategy.
  • Keeping up to date with and utilising online technologies, trends, best practices and making recommendations for improvements.
We need you to have:
  • Solid PHP experience, working in a full stack capacity.
  • Exposure to Javascript, CSS and HTML
  • Experience in Ecommerce, transactional website development.
  • Experience with either WordPress, Woocommerce or Shopify
  • Strong knowledge of web performance best-practice, accessibility, and technical SEO
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility management, mobile first and responsive design
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Organisational skills with methodical and thorough attention to detail
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
