PHP Developer (Backend or Full Stack) | £50-60k | SaaS | Fully remote (UK based)A lot of conversations Ive had recently, people have either been waxing lyrical about the flexible workplace they are a part of or cursing the fact that their current employer is overly rigid and theres no flexibility at all!Well fear not, Ive just started working with a new client and flexibility is their middle name! Theyre fully remote, have flexible working hours and are even flexible in regards to what projects you want to work on - absolute winner!So what do they do exactly Theyre a SaaS business who specialise in the employee experience space - essentially their software makes remote businesses more inclusive and helps make the onboarding process for remote workers much more engaging and intuitive. Without divulging too much, its a super interesting product that they have created and the development work is interesting too!What can you expect from the role Well, its mostly developing new features and making improvements to the existing system. Its very much more refactoring & improving functionality, over bug fixing and legacy code work . Theyre also big on TDD and theircoding philosophy is all about doing things right and not just doing things quickly!They use Symfony as their backend framework & React on the frontend, and theyre equally happy with candidates who are fully backend development focussed or prefer to do a full stack role. Youll also get the chance to be involved with Golang & Node work ifyou want!Their main priority is finding people who will be the right cultural fit - they love people who are flexible & excited about learning new things. Maybe youve never worked with a certain tech before, but if youre the kind of person who throws themselves intoa new challenge, they would love to have a chat with you The right skills;
