We are looking for a back-end PHP web developer to join our digital team with primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of our award winning cloud based web & mobile applications.What does the job involveIf creating high-quality web applications and learning new technologies is your thing then this role could be for you. Your primary focus will be development of our Shares web site and associated APIs, implementing new technologies, conforming to internal development standards, developing on cloud architecture whilst seeking to incorporate the latest technologies.Within a wider digital team, following agile processes & principles, you will ensure a high level of code quality. Working closely with fellow developers, front-end designers & system architects this role provides a great opportunity for you to demonstrate back-end, server side and API skills. The role will cover a mix of new product driven projects, innovation led initiatives whilst looking to continue to modernise the tech stack and progress the move to micro-service architecture.
