Job Description

Hands-on business analyst, dashboard analytics development major pharmaceutical company, fully home based Your new companyIs a leading global pharmaceutical company based in the North West who are looking to add a hands-on business analyst / analytics developer with pharmaceutical experience to their team to help optimise how the business uses data. They have an excellent corporate atmosphere and you will be working on a COVID vaccine project.Your new roleYou will be joining an established department, supporting their Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety teams by developing and optimising dashboards, reports and analytics to support their COVID vaccine. This is a fully home based contract role, with significant possibilities to extend until December 2021. Main duties will include:

  • Liaising with stakeholders across the PV / Drug safety and/or Regulatory departments about data needs;
  • Developing new, and optimising existing, dashboards and analytics reports;
  • Hands-on analysis of data to support teams;
  • Assisting with data modelling and processing;
  • Leading self-contained insights / BI and analytics projects;
  • Support compliance systems within the business;
  • Working with multiple technical / software platforms, such as Spotfire, Oracle, Excel, etc
    • What youll need to succeedAs well as strong organisational, communication and analytical skills, you should have:
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical / biotech or healthcare industry in roles such as Business Analyst / intelligence, analytics, market research, or forecasting, either in-house or for a consultancy;
  • Dashboard, tool and/or report development experience
  • Experience working with analytical software / platforms, eg Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, Excel for visualisation or data analytics
  • Programming skills in a language such as SQL, VBA, python or similar
  • Good people skills, ideally from interacting with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • A technical, business or scientific background, either from a BSc / MSc or equivalent experience, in areas such as IT, business, data science, statistics, life sciences or similar
