Job Description

An exciting and innovative organisation based in Manchester are seeking a permanent Personal Assistant to the Managing Director to start as soon as possible. Paying £25,000pa-£30,000pa, this opportunity is brilliant for a commercially minded Personal Assistant looking to work for a dynamic business, with a vibrant culture that makes for a fantastic working environment. The role purpose is to provide comprehensive support to the Managing Director of the business; this is a newly created a position, so there is a real opportunity to shape this role around yourself and your skillset. Please see below an overview of your expected responsibilities:

  • Classic personal assistant duties, such as diary & email management, meeting coordination including preparing agendas and board papers and travel & accommodation booking
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for the MD
  • Helping to support with projects within the business, understanding the commercial impact of business agendas and decisions
  • Providing ideas to improve or implement current processes, including the smooth day to day running of the business
  • General administrative duties as required
  • The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Experience working within a Personal Assistant position, ideally at Board Level
  • Be commercially minded, innovative and adaptable (a candidate from a highly regimented or structured background may not enjoy this environment as it is very fluid)
  • Be flexible, open-minded and hardworking
  • Highly organised with excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • In return, you will receive the following:
  • A competitive basic salary of up to £30,000pa dependant on your experience
  • Super flexible hours and environment- 37.5 but can be worked around your schedule, and this can be working from home or in the office (flexibility will be required in return to suit the business needs)
