Working across our offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow we haveover 60 highly trained lawyers, paralegals and pension schemeconsultants.Legal directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers consistently rate us as a leading pensions firm. With eighteen partners and no fewer than thirteen "leaders in the field" of pensions, no-one has more expertise available than we do.Among our clients are pension fund trustees, public authorities, master trusts and other pension providers, pension consultants and administrators, insurers and other financial institutions and large global corporations.Our practice covers both non contentious and contentious work and includes one of the UKs leading pensions litigation teams. We have one of the UKs leading pensions de-risking teams, advising both trustees and insurers on annuity and longevity transactions.We often work closely with colleagues in our restructuring, corporate and funds teams.Our Manchester pension team has 5 partners and is the strongest team in the region.The Candidate RequiredThe ideal candidate will have gained experience in the pensions department of a City firm or large regional practice.Candidates need to be technically excellent with strong academics. Equally important, they should be able to explain difficult things in simple terms, be commercially aware and capable of building close relationships with our clients.
