Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a PCB Technician to join a growing UK company that manufactures leading technology protection relays and medium voltage circuit breakers for highly critical electrical power systems across a global client base.This is a hands on, varied role, suiting someone with a strong technical background. Along with a salary of £26,000 per annum, you will receive up to 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), personal and career development, and a company pension scheme.As PCB Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Testing assembles PCBs after manufacturing and prior to final product assembly
  • Reporting to the Validation Manager and working closely with both the production and product test teams.
We’re looking for a PCB Technician with:
  • Ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials
  • Resistor colour coding is essential.
  • A keen eye for detail and high degree of accuracy are essential.
  • Previous experience within an electronics/manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of PCB production processes.
  • Knowledge of conventional and surface mount devices and packages.
  • Experience using tools used in an electronics environment.
