Job Description

Global FMCG organization based in Manchester City Centre require a Payroll Specialist to fulfill a 6 month contractReporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 3, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the companys employees are paid accurately and in a timely mannerKey duties include:

  • Submitting payroll information to the bureau, maintaining control systems to ensure payroll checks, analysis of payroll and resolving salaried payroll queries.
  • Providing a first line support service to Colleagues and Line Managers in respect of payroll queries and resolve all queries in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all management and support changes are actioned in a timely manner to ensure accurate payments and reporting
  • Coordination new starter and leaver payroll processes to ensure accurate payments for colleagues and the business
  • Completing end of month payroll processing required for payroll provider and reporting/auditing as required
  • Administering pension auto-enrolment to ensure compliance with legislation and maintenance of accurate records including processing of new added workers, leavers and contributions and monitoring.
  • Ensure all notifications of sickness, paternity/maternity leave is communicated correctly to payroll bureau
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience either within in house or bureau payroll Experience of working in both areas would be a distinct advantage but not essentialStrong excel skills are also a pre-requisite of this role as the ability to analyse figures and report on them accordingly as and when requiredClick on the link to apply Required skills
