Job Description

Together, we can grow and shape the future of a successful business in an expanding sector.The RoleWorking within a team of 8, our payroll department is responsible for processing the monthly payroll of around 7000 employees at mydentist. In this role you will be responsible for geographical area and be the go-to contact for payroll in that area. The rolewill involve processing new starters, leavers, and changes in terms. You will be required to prepare reports, determine payroll liabilities and resolve payroll discrepancies.Key Accountabilities

  • Processing of starters, leavers, and changes in terms onto the payroll system in accordance with {my}dentist policies and procedures
  • Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Administration and payment of statutory leave, court orders, childcare vouchers and pension
  • Review summary pay reporting and reconcile monthly payroll
  • Resolution of payroll queries
  • Supporting Practice and Department Managers with query resolution and procedures
  • Manual calculations of SSP, SMP and SAP
  • Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and non-taxable wages
  • Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee income, taxes and NI
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
  • Maintains employee confident and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
