Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and career driven person to join our payroll team. You will be working in a small team, alongside a qualified highly experience payroll manager, processing 100+ monthly payrolls of different sizes and complexities.Day to day duties include:

  • End to end processing of payrolls.
  • Calculating payments and deductions, including SMP and SPP.
  • Managing client portals on BrightPay Connect.
  • Reconciling client PAYE accounts.
  • Preparing payments via a bank file/Telleroo.
  • Speaking to third parties such as HMRC and pension providers.
  • Advising clients and supporting them with queries.
  • Posting payroll journals to Xero.
  • Managing auto enrolment for clients.
  • Uploading pension schedules to pension portals.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 Months experience working within an end to end payroll processing position.
  • Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation.
  • Passionate about payroll and providing an exceptional service to clients.
  • Currently undertaking a payroll qualification is desirable.
  • Strong numerical skills and high level of attention to detail is essential.
  • You will be in direct communication with clients so excellent verbal and written skills will be required at all times.
  • You will be expected to manage and prioritise your own workload, therefore strong time management and organisational skills will be essential for this role.
  • We are looking for a self starter with strong work ethic, who is able to make decisions and run with tasks and projects with minimal input.
  • You will be part of the 25 person team and will need to be a strong team player to ensure we provide as a collective, a world class service to all clients.
