Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced professional Part Time Receptionist to become a valued part of their front of house teamThe focus of this job is to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the reception through excellent customer service and organisational skillsHours of work are Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am - 5pm As this is a job share role, it would be expected that this person will cover holidays for their job share partnerRole and Responsibilities for the position of Part Time Receptionist:

  • To provide a helpful and efficient reception desk
  • Answering and transferring telephone calls via a PC based VoIP switchboard system and taking messages where appropriate;
  • Set up of conference calls and video conferencing using all available remote meeting platforms (MS Teams / Zoom etc)
  • To sign for and distribute post to fee earners etc
  • Meeting and greeting clients / visitors;
  • Organisation of daily conference facilities & supplies
  • Planning of daily conferences rooms through diary system
  • Organising any conference catering / refreshments requirements
  • Liaison with maintenance & cleaning companies / callouts
  • Ad-hoc clerical duties
Skills/Qualifications Required for the position of Part Time Receptionist:
  • Switchboard/Reception experience essential;
  • Proficient IT knowledge including use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook;
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C minimum or equivalent)
  • Desired - to have worked previously in a professional services environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and to create and maintain good working relationships.
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Capacity to thrive in a small teamenvironmentand is a teamplayer who gets on well with colleagues.
  • Willingness always to represent company in the best possible light.
