Part-Qualified Management Accountant!Are you a dynamic Part-Qualified (or QBE) Management Accountant looking to advance your career Do you have a solid foundation in accounting principles and a penchant for precision An incredible opportunity awaits you in the heart of Trafford!Were on the hunt for a talented Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our client. With a competitive annual salary of £40,000 and a host of exceptional benefits, this 12-month fixed-term contract offers the perfect platform to showcase your skills. Based in the Trafford area, their office beckons for collaboration three days a week, while the comfort of your home awaits you for the remaining two days. This equilibrium ensures a healthy work-life balance, allowingyou to perform at your best. (Can be flexible to suit you)Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and production of P&L for several Strategic Areas, including full variance analysis (actuals v budget v forecast v prior year). To be completed to required deadlines, liaising with key personal including Finance Manager to ensure accounts areaccurate and fair.
  • Assist in posting of several key journals across the sites, including Rent Frees, Void Rates and deferred rent.
  • Balance Sheet analysis. To own monthly balance sheet analysis for set Strategic areas, investigating historical balances and ensuring correct representation of financial position.
  • Potential to assist Finance Manager with current Build to Rent schemes, including cashflow forecasting, invoicing and cash management
  • Assisting Business Partner/Finance Manager with quarterly P&L forecasting, annual budgets and 5 year business plan.
  • Opportunity to complete quarterly banking compliance in aligned to Strategic Areas
  • Assisting in annual year end process, including preparation of half year and year end audit packs, and assisting statutory accounts team with preparation of annual accounts for allocated divisions
  • Provide external audit support in relation to allocated divisions, complying with all audit requests and responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Assist Finance Manager with ad hoc information requests and report requirements
  • Develop standard procedures and templates for use by the team
  • Continuous process improvements
