Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Panel Wirer to join a well-established and growingmanufacturing company that produces leading technology protection relays and medium voltagecircuit breakers often employed in highly critical electrical power systems across a global client base.We are looking for someone to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according toengineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofelectrical systems, excellent wiring skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-pacedenvironment.As Electrical Panel Wirer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Mount and install electrical components, such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers,according to the provided specifications.
  • Connect and wire the components following wiring diagrams and ensuring proper routing,termination, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure the accuracy of component placement, wiringconnections, and overall assembly of the control panel.
  • Perform basic functional tests to verify that the control panel operates as intended, checkingfor continuity, voltage levels, and identifying and resolving simple issues.
  • Maintain basic documentation of the wiring process, noting any deviations from the schematics, and assist in creating simple records for quality control purposes.
We’re looking for an Electrical Panel Wirer with the following:
  • Experience in wiring industrial control panels and systems to EN 60204
  • Familiar with manual and powered hands tools, e.g., impact drivers, torque wrench, manualcrimpers
  • Ability to read and interpret an electrical wiring schematic
  • Experience of assembling spring charged and magnetic actuator mechanisms and interlocking
  • Overhead crane and manual stacker lifting experience
This is a full-time, permanent position working 39 hours per week.
