Job Description

The OpportunityBrand new opportunity for a Paid Social Manager / Paid Social professional to join a creative-first performance marketing and events agency based in Manchester. The agency works an impressive list of the worlds most well-loved music events, music festivalsand international brands. Whilst this makes up the core of the work, other clients includes wider consumer (retail, food and beverage, influencer, etc).The RoleThe Paid Social Manager will be based 3 days a week in Manchester and up to 2 days a week remotely ensuring the agency produces the outstanding Paid Social work required to achieve its world-class ambitions. Working alongside some of the most well-lovedand known music events your team will create and optimise world class paid media campaigns to launch and sell tickets for music festivals and events around the world. Youll work on some of them with a traditional agency client relationship and others withan internal relationship working directly with the in-house team.Youll be reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media and managing a Paid Media Executive whilst working alongside Festival Marketing Managers and Designers. Your role will see you working on the strategy, implementation, optimisation, reporting and managingthe client relationships on each paid media campaign.Responsibilities

  • Strategising and implementing paid social media advertising and (if you have the experience, PPC campaigns) designed to drive ticket sales. The campaigns will take place primarily across Facebook and Instagram, and Google but also across any other moreinfrequent campaigns on platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter and any other new platforms. other platforms alongside the team (who will provide creative, social posts and content);
  • Managing campaign budgets efficiently and diligently working towards campaign KPI;
  • Conducting a/b testing to advance channel effectiveness and drive insights; includes planning, prioritisation, measurement, structure and analysis;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and representatives at our main platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Google, Snapchat);
  • Authoring weekly reports on internal and external clients - efficiently and timely using the agencys existing frameworks and ensuring sales are correctly attributed to deliver ROAS metrics;
  • Producing weekly analysis and recommendations for clients internally and externally to improve their campaigns;
  • Advising clients/internal clients on how to improve and refresh their assets;
  • Hosting weekly calls with clients to advise them on we can work together to improve their metrics with confidence to talk about strategy, budgets and ROI;
  • Working closely with the agencys internal festival marketing teams to drive ticket sales to our own events;
  • Working with the new business team to develop and deliver proposals using the agencies existing framework;
  • Developing internal processes to drive efficiencies;
  • Writing up thought leadership and success stories on the agencies Paid Media successes;
  • Managing and developing the Paid Media Executive with a view to more people joining the team as it hits its targets;
  • Drive innovation in Paid Media to increase our efficiency, keeping your ear to the ground on the latest software innovations;
  • Monitoring competitors to identify and assess their social media advertising strategies, as well as keep abreast of the overall industry;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and representatives at our main platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Google, Snapchat).
RequirementsWe are looking for someone passionate and highly experienced in Paid Social / Paid Media and are open to all backgrounds, provided you have marketed in a D2C / B2C capacity.
  • A personal track record of running successful paid social campaigns;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with digital marketing platforms;
  • Proven experience of managing a range of client spend;
  • Small amounts of ideation but ideally this person just needs to know what works and does not work with Gen Z and millennials;
  • Proven client-facing experience and contributions to pitches;
  • Ideal but not compulsory: A passion for music, festivals and events.
Salary: £28,000 - £45,000 per annumLocation: Manchester (hybrid remote/office)Benefits: 25 days annual leave, birthday off, early finish Fridays, Flexi-Time, gig and festival tickets. If working from the the office, additional benefits include regular socials and free breakfast Mondays.
