Job Description

Paid Media Manager - Luxury Retailer - £40,000 - South ManchesterPassionate about Paid Media and looking to sink your teeth into a new challenge Become the Paid Media Manager for a high end retailed based in South Manchester.The business has experienced a phenomenal amount of success since they first began and now, through their multiple retail stores and slick ecommerce website, they are the go-to place for high-end and luxury products in their market! As they continue to build and expand the brand, they are now on the hunt for an experienced Paid Media Manager to help them drive the company to future success.The Paid Media Manager’s role will primarily focus on the business’ online paid advertising and will include managing their PPC, display and shopping campaigns. They’re looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager with robust hands on experience across paid channels, and ideally a working knowledge across a broader spectrum of digital marketing.The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of retail and has the ability to assist with the overall digital strategy and how that would fit within the overall marketing mix. They will be an enthusiastic individual who wants to contribute to a highly innovative and successful business will thrive within this fast-paced environment.That being said they are very flexible - so it can be a mixture of home and some office based, but could be more weighted to home as they utilise zooms throughout the day.At present it would be fully home based until at least October/November but maybe longer.They are also open to candidates who may only want four days a week due to childcare.The Key Responsibilities of the Paid Media Manager:

  • Take control of all paid search, display and shopping campaigns, identifying and applying recommendations from previous campaigns in order to maximise performance
  • Plan and develop the paid media advertising strategy and ensure that it is aligned with the company’s overall objectives
  • Be hands on in regards to ad set up, account structure and other tasks in order to drive campaign performance
  • On a regular basis, integrate new products and campaigns into the paid media mix whilst producing highly detailed reports of each campaign which can be presented to key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to inform the Marketing Strategy from a Digital perspective
  • When required, analyse key trends to make data-driven decisions
  • The Perfect Candidate:
  • A minimum of 4 years’ working within paid media
  • Proven experience managing paid media campaigns from end-to-end
  • Google Adwords certified and experienced across search, shopping and display advertising
  • Previous experience in an ecommerce/retail brand, or agency would be preferred
  • Competent knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook
  • Fantastic interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • A sound knowledge of bid management tools including Doubleclick would be beneficial
  • Experience and exposure across the spectrum of digital marketing
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills are vital for the role
