* Packaging experience required* Own brands and license packaging experience* Variety of projects!An established organisation based in Manchester city centre is looking to recruit a Packaging Designer for its in-house studio team.On a day-to-day basis your role will involve creating original and eye catching designs for a whole host of packaging ranges, along with artworking. Previous packaging experience is essential to fulfil this role. It would suit someone who has come from a fast paced FMCG background. Other projects will include catalogues, presentations, branding, digital asset creation and promotional material.You will be working across a variety of brands on a whole range of different packaging projects. This company covers a big mixture of sectors including gardening, household, automotive, DIY, stationery, cosmetics and sports aids.This is a fast paced environment, so excellent attention to detail and a the ability to hit deadlines is key. You will need to have a high level of skill using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with a sound knowledge of artworking.As well as producing original creative designs, you will be adhering to brand guidelines for certain brands and creating new brand identities for others. You will need some technical knowledge producing cutter guides and supporting the artworker, creating mock-ups and manipulating images.This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company that has a real family feel to it.
