We are recruiting Warehouse Order Pickers for our client who are the worlds largest provider of airline catering and in-flight services. Its primary business function is to prepare the bar/trolley carts for the aircraft with snacks, drinks (includingalcoholic) and general duty free goods.Warehouse Order Picker - Involves downloading picks from computer system, use of hand scanner for order picking. Picking order and packing into trolley as you go. Accuracy is of paramount importance. Basic computer/keyboards skills required. Its a fast pacedpicking warehouse environment so you must be able to read, pick & pack at pace. Stock includes drinks, crisps, snack boxes, nuts, chocolate and some duty free stock . Task specific training will be given.FREE HOT MEAL AND DRINKS provided each shiftHOURS/SHIFTSBased at Manchester Airport -Working hours average of 40 hours on a rota 4 days on 2 days off and will involve working on Saturday and SundaysWorking hours between 05:00am -22:00pmPAY RATESThe hourly rate of pay will be £9.85 per hour - Regular extra shifts for overtime available.Please note that you be need to have a background check which involves" Reference for a minimum period of 5 years prior to start date" Criminal background check - DBSExperience of working within a warehouse/stores environment is necessary with picking & packing experience. A good standard of English language (reading, writing and spoken) required.
