My government based client is looking for 2 x Executive officers to join their team in their Manchester offices. This is a full time position working 37 hours per week on a 6 month contract, at an hourly rate of £12.88 per hour. Duties include but not restricted to o Management of junior staff within the team, accurately contributing to performance and staff attendance management procedureso Undertaking daily workflow shift management duties, ensuring prompt and fair allocation of work to team members.o Scheduling and performing EM case reviews in line with immigration bail policy and making appropriate decisions regarding the commencement, variation, and cessation of EM conditionso Consideration of representations made by individuals and their legal team regarding the application of EM and providing written responses which set out evidence-based decisions and a person-centered approach in each caseo Coordinating the response to failed EM commencements in line with published guidance and proposing the next course of action subject to the facts of the case. o Coordinating appropriate response to EM breach activity in line with internal guidance. This may include pursuit of section 24 prosecution action and the preparation of evidenceo Providing decision assurance for junior team members, thus ensuring that relevant immigration policy is consistently adhered to, and that decision escalation is pursued where appropriate o Supporting senior managers by contributing to the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) processes to ensure accurate and consistent EM decisionso Actively supporting senior managers with the continuous improvement of internal business processes and procedures required to deliver EM for service userso Coordination and publishing of legislative communications for internal and external stakeholders, including service users. There is an enhanced level clearance required for this role, that can take upto 6 weeks to be completed, along with a 3 year work and/or education history required.
