Job Description

On-site Technical Services Analyst - Manchester Are you customer driven and a team player Can you support a diverse user-base, while working to agreed timescales Do you want to shape your world and change the way the world works Do you want to collaborate and achieve together with committed peopleto deliver a world-class service to a major global energy supplier This is your world and your opportunity to transform it for the better.Your roleWorking in a high secure area covering the following:

  • Carry out case restores and case backups using Backup Exec.
  • Ingest data from external suppliers, then back them up to either Backup Exec or Commvault. (Plug the hard drives into a workstation and start a copy)
  • Rebuild workstations (Every quarter)
  • Troubleshoot any issues with the users PCs
  • Investigate any network drops (1st line / 2nd line), mostly check logs on GUI and check for any errors. Check for loose cables, etc then forward over to 3rd line support if the basic network checks dont solve the issue.
  • Antivirus update on the AV server
We are looking for an individual with strong organizational and technical skills, whos confident to manage and prioritize workload for themselves to meet service levels.
