Title: Office Administrator Reporting to: Head of DepartmentExperience: A minimum of 1 years experience in a position with ample experience in the fieldType: Full TimeOur client is a busy multi-disciplinary practice based in Manchester City Centre who specialise in financial mis-selling, housing disrepair and business energy claims. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and efficient Office Administrator to joinour team.Main Duties and Responsibilities include:As an Office Administrator, your primary responsibility is to assist in departmental processes under the guidance of an experienced leader, providing essential administrative support. The core objective of this role is to ensure the seamless and efficient operationof the business through:* Executing general administrative duties.* Managing a dynamic inbox, addressing queries from employees, clients and business partners* Performing accurate data entry into the case management system.* Processing paperwork and generating necessary documents.* Actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of business processes.* Managing sensitive information with assurance and discretion.* Managing incoming and outgoing postal activities.* Proactively pursuing outstanding information through email and telephone communication, both internally and externally.* Overseeing and undertaking the maintenance of the office, encompassing tasks such as kitchen upkeep, weekly replenishment of office sundries, and general maintenance of the overall workspace.Competency Requirements:The ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience in an administrative capacity, key competencies include:* Proficiency in IT, with knowledge in using Microsoft software and adaptability to new technologies.* Previous experience in diary management.* The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.* Strong attention to detail and adaptability to changing needs.* Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.* Capability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently.* Willingness to undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed to support the business.Work Location:The successful candidate will be required to be situated in our City Centre Manchester office 5 days a week.
