An exciting opportunity has arisen to scope the role of occupational therapy in relation to providing a service to children and young people in Manchester who need support with their mental health. You will work with local CAMHS services and childrens community health services to develop and evaluate the role. You will provide a specialist children & young people’s community Occupational Therapy Service for children with highly complex mental health, educational and social needs.We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-motivated person to work as an Occupational Therapist in our well established team. The team consists of 18 staff members who have a variety of specialities working in different settings. We have two bases one at Baguley and one at Gorton. You will be based in the Gorton office with a citywide remit.There is a comprehensive in-service training programme and we have a strong commitment to CPD.
