Job Description

Fluent Norwegian speakers needed for this role - FULL training is given:To contribute to the growth of our clients business and strengthening of the companys reputation by preparing the technical aspect of claims with an efficient, high-quality, client-focused approach that results in a positive customer experience.To ensure that correct methods of assessing the quality of the claim are applied so claims are robust and can be upheld in the event of a HMRC enquiry whilst also ensuring that the tax relief obtained for the client is maximised.Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Obtaining detailed technical information from the client to ensure all relevant activities are captured
  • Extracting relevant information from project plans, websites or technical data the client provides
  • Identifying which activities do and dont qualify for the Tax Incentive Scheme
  • Ensuring technical standards and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensuring technical information on all claims is accurate and clearly explained, and the claim can be justified should HMRC investigate it
  • Assessing risks relating to the technical aspect of the claim, documenting those risks and highlighting them
  • Explaining the technical process to clients, ensuring they understand it
  • Undertaking research to assess baseline technology and gathering information to support the claim
  • Responding to HMRC enquiries where appropriate
  • Undertaking other duties as required to support the R&D technical team
Experience / Skills:
  • Ability to speak Norwegian fluently - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to extract technical information from clients and absorb the relevant information
  • Ability to challenge others in a respectful and professional way, probing appropriately
  • Able to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently both in writing and verbally
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
  • Ability to influence others and deal with challenging situations calmly
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly at short notice
