Job Description

(Nordic Speaking) Associate Technical Service Scientist with practical experience of molecular biology techniques. Exciting role combining scientific knowledge, multilingual skills (English and Nordic) and a customer support mentality to make a real differenceto cutting-edge research.Client DetailsGlobal provider of sample and assay technologies for molecular diagnostics and pharmaceutical research with offices based in Manchester and throughout Europe. Company-wide aim to making a real difference to science and healthcare.Description(Nordic Speaking) Associate Technical Service Scientist:

  • Acquire and apply the constantly changing knowledge in terms of technology, products and processes.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and accurate technical support to our Nordic-speaking customers as well as our international customers. The support is done via phone or email from in an office-based role.
  • Effectively prioritise existing tasks and their efficient handling in respect to the needs of our customers and the team.
  • Actively cooperate in the development of existing and future solutions to further improve our customer service.
Profile
  • Fluency in a Nordic language (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) plus English is required for this role; any additional European language is a benefit.
  • Customer-centric mentality as a service provider with scientific background and a positive attitude when handling constantly changing requirements.
  • Laboratory experience from academia or industry of the most frequently used techniques within molecular biology and genomics.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially with regards to molecular biology techniques.
