Adecco Public Sector (formerly Badenoch + Clark) is privileged to have been selected as the exclusive recruitment partner for NHS IT System Trainers on behalf of Modis and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). We are currently looking to growour existing team of Clinical System Trainers and are hiring IMMEDIATELY. Rates on offer are between £240 per day and £290 per day OUTSIDE OF IR35 (dependent on whether you are selected as a Trainer or Lead Trainer) and the training sessions will be deliveredonsite across Greater Manchester, so candidates must be happy to work onsite throughout the contract. The initial contract will run up until 26th August, but further extensions are likely for training wash-up and floorwalking requirements.About MFT and the role on offerEmploying over 28,000 staff, a family of ten hospitals across seven separate sites, MFT provides a wide range of services from comprehensive local general hospital care through to highly specialised regional and national services.MFT is embarking on an unprecedented clinical and digital transformation programme that will revolutionise the way patient care is delivered and tracked through technology. MFT will introduce Hive, a brand-new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution fromthe supplier Epic that will bring all patient information into one easily accessible place and make their services and patient experience more effective than ever before. As one of the System Trainers, you will deliver crucial Hive training to all MFT staff who need access to the new system. Youll teach classes of between 8-20 people, covering both clinical and corporate staff, over a dedicated period in both classroomsand online settings. All training delivery will be onsite in Manchester.Trainers will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and problem-solving assistance to your end users ensuring they have the appropriate skills, support and resources they need to use the new EPR system properly and do a great job.Hive is the largest initiative of its kind and is backed by a significant multi-million-pound investment.Modis is proud and honoured to be selected as MFTs end user training service provider.Due to the need for candidates to be able to get up to speed quickly on Epics functionality and the pre-designed training material, it is deemed essential that any applicant has prior NHS classroom-based training experience. This will ideally be withinNHS IT system training, but any form of NHS-staff training experience will be beneficial. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to pick up new training material quickly and be able to quickly learn and embrace pre-designed training materials and techniquesPrior to the delivery of training to MFTs end users, you will participate in a 2-3 week Train the Trainer programme designed by MFT and Epic. This will support you in learning the required system knowledge and advised training methodology and then go througha mock training session exam, known as the Credentialled Epic Trainer Panelling, to make sure you are ready to go start training end users. When hopefully successful in passing this panelling, you will be awarded the status of a Credentialled Epic Trainer.Whats in it for you
