Badenoch + Clarks NHS client in the North West of England requires an IT / EUC Technical Lead for an initial six-month contact. The rate on offer is negotiable dependent on skills and experience and will fall outside of IR35, but is likely to be in theregion of £400-£600 per day. The role is to start ASAP. The role will require you to be on site in the most part, so applicants must be willing to work onsite in a COVID-secure environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of an efficient, responsive, effective and customer focused service relating to the NHS Trusts user workspace infrastructure. We need someone who can understand and translate requirementsfrom an End User technical point of view, who has experience implementing large-scale systems and ideally experience of managing and motivating a small team of like-minded technical professionals.The role would essentially be to coordinate the activities of the team, working on technical designs for future implementations, focusing priorities and workload for the team and also being a coordination point for the team in the event of technical issues. The post holder will be the design authority for EUC and desktop environments, such as virtualised desktop environments, full client desktop images & mobile device management.The ideal candidate will possess experience with as many of the below technical skills as possible:* Active Directory management* SCCM, application packaging etc.* Operating system management (Win10)* M365* Virtual Server and VDI Infrastructures* VMWare and VMWare Horizon* Imprivata* NetworkingIn order to be considered, candidates will be skilled and experienced IT Technical Leads who have worked within either an NHS or wider public sector IT large-scale transformation programme.
