NHS IT PMO Analyst - North-West England - £250-£270 per dayBadenoch + Clarks NHS client in the North-West of England has a very exciting opportunity for an IT PMO Analyst to join them on a long-term project that is focused on the stabilisation and restructuring of NHS informatics service following an organisational structure change. The initial contracts are for three months (but with a definite view to extend longer term), are to start ASAP and rates will be in the region of £250 - £270 per day (outside of IR35).The successful candidate will be joining the programme following an as-is review of informatics service provision across the organisation that has highlighted the need for both longer term change, stabilisation and disaggregation of services, as well as some more urgent and immediate remediation requirements. Your role will be offering a key, direct support function to Project and Programme Managers in the delivery of these critical project work-streams.Key requirements for the successful candidate will be as follows:* Effective co-ordination of key governance meetings (e.g. Project and Programme Boards), including scheduling, diary management and timely preparation of support materials.* Deliver on the application of standard project and programme support techniques, including Lessons Learned, project or programme set-up, planning, RAID, change control, benefits tracking, project or programme closure, procurement support.* Establish and maintain documentation repository with appropriate configuration management of key documents* Supporting the set-up and management of project or programme schedules in MS Project, adhering to standard templates to enable consistent reporting formats.* Support the effective on-boarding of new starters to the programme or project team, ensuring timely appropriation of kit, account logins, access to shared areas, and ensuring individuals receive schedule of key governance meetings which they are required to attend.* Provide guidance to programme or project team members to ensure the application of Informatics standards, tools and techniques to facilitate effective and consistent delivery standards.* Acting as first contact point on behalf of team, providing accurate signposting to support requests for information, and escalating delivery status changes or concerns to the project or programme manager.* Provide assurance to and timely population of key MI data feeds, such as the RAID Log, the Plan, Programme or Project Status Reports, Resource Forecast Reviews and Financial trackingThe ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge of working for a PMO function within a large-scale Informatics environment (regularly performing the above tasks), but also be comfortable acting as a right-hand person to a PM delivering on a key IT change programme.
