Job Description

Job Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year (depending on experience)Location: Greater ManchesterDo you have a passion for technology and a keen interest in IT and Networking Do you have 1 - 5 years experience in running cables If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!Our client is currently looking for a Network Cabling Engineer to join their engineering department. As a Network Cabling Engineer, you will assist in the deployment of Cat5/6 Network Cabling Infrastructure ready for the installation of services which thecompany provide to their customers. Your role will require you to install, terminate, and test Cat5/6 Network Cable Infrastructure components. You will be working closely with our existing engineering team, headed by the Engineering Manager. The successfulcandidate must have a full UK driving license.Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test Cat5/6 Network Cable Infrastructure components.
  • Assist in the deployment of Cat5/6 Network Cabling Infrastructure.
  • Work closely with our existing engineering team, headed by the Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience of running cables is essential.
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in IT and Networking.
  • Methodical approach to work.
  • Have a basic understanding of Networking.
  • Proficient in using technology - for example: tablets/mobile phones/Microsoft packages.
