We will continue to build on our history of investment and innovation, whilst delivering solutions that have a positive impact, so that peopleand the planet flourish.And we do all of this because we care about making the world a better home.Due to an increase in business here at Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions we have a great opportunity for an experienced, driven Area Sales / Account Manager / Business Development candidate to join our high performing team as National Sales Manager working with three brands within SGIS who have a unique and unrivalled offer to the merchant channel.You will manage the strategy, sales growth and profitability within the specified accounts with a focus on commercial and marketing management by building productive relationships with head office and regional contacts, gaining support and engagement forsales plans to drive growth and preferential product mix. Working within conjunction with the National Account Director to achieve the group account objectivesThis really is an excellent opportunity for somebody with recent construction industry sales experience to come into a dynamic, close-knit team with high levels of trust and collaboration. We are a diverse business with awide variety of experience and always look to develop people within our organisation.What were looking for:

  • Experienced Sales Professional - with experience in Distribution and/or Merchant Sales (Essential)
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems experience
  • An Influencer with attentive customer service
  • A practiced salesperson who is highly customer focused, able to anticipate and adapt to customer needs and expectations and develop and maintain customer relationships
  • A good team player internally and externally
  • Marketing experience (Product and Comms)
  • Someone who can demonstrate that they are able to work and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Technical Capability / competence in line with the Technical Competency Framework
What you will be doing:
  • Create and develop a sales plan for the specified account in conjunction with the relevant NAD and in line with the overall account plan to our business strategy which can be easily understood by all stakeholders to deliver joint objectives
  • Supports the delivery of annual revenue, volumes, and profit margin targets with their account responsibility. Management of JIF Budget
  • To manage and add value to formal national agreements through regular business performance reviews, promotional activity development with identified regional contacts for specified account, seeking out and secure new business opportunities
  • In conjunction with the Marketing / Portfolio Managers / NAD, to develop and implement sales plans leading to profitable growth and market share increase in line with the agreed business strategy for each account and product group
  • Development and implementation of new product area plans, in line with national and regional sales plans, to deliver sales in line with our Product Leadership objectives
  • Be the focal point for the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained
  • Supporting our purpose of "making the world a better home" and specifically contribute to our target of zero carbon by 2050
