Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)Carrington£35,000Permanent PositionAboutTime Recruitment Solutions is happy to be assisting a long standing business who have recently moved into a new state of the art facility based in Carrington.Having been established for over 30 years, they have grown to become a world-leading packaging supplier of climatic packaging solutions to manufacturers in a wide variety of industries.They specialise in total climatic packaging solutions to prevent moisture damage whilst reducing supply chain costs - manufacturing a range of aluminium barrier foil liners from F.I.B.Cs and drums to 2 and 3-dimensional bags.Due to continued growth and the opening of the new facility they are now looking to expand their team of engineers and are now looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer who would be Electrically bias.Responsibilities:*Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - (Electrically Biased)*Electrical/Mechanical maintenance of heat sealing packaging machinery*Working within a small Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering manager.*Working on various projectsSkills / Knowledge required:*Preparing, carrying out and recording weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual preventative maintenance schedules*Dealing with emergency breakdowns urgently, calling in outside contractors when required*Suggesting pro-active improvements to problems encountered*Providing a hand sealer repair service to our customers*Finding faults and resolutions*Carrying out PAT Testing*Ensuring that company system of purchase requisitions/orders is adhered to*Dealing with property repairs and general onsite maintenance*Any other reasonable request*Occasional out of hours work when necessary to support breakdowns/urgent repairsEssential Knowledge and Experience:*Ideal candidates will have experience working as multi-skilled engineers in a maintenance role in an industrial environment.*You must be able to attend to both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance tasks and additional training will be provided.*Trained to Engineering apprenticeship standard* Must be familiar with 110/240/415VAC - Single and 3-Phase electrics*Must be able to read electrical drawings*Pneumatics and Hydraulics*Ability to fault find complex systems is essential*Specific experience on electric overhead cranes and lifting systems together with good awareness of Health & Safety will be viewed favourably*Able to work independently, on own initiative, and as part of a team*Experience in factory and office electrical wiringWorking HoursMon - Fri: Role will be a day shift 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.10pm FridayIf you have the right skillset and experience and are looking for a new opportunity as a Maintenance Engineer then please click APPLY or call Gary Gittings for a private and confidential chat.
