Job Description

One of the UK’s leading cloudand securemanaged hosting providers is on the search for Backend (PHP) Developers who are looking to work on a range of greenfield incentives. The business has identified key areas of growth and look to bring in dedicated and collaborative developers to join them on their journey. You will report into Lead Product Owner’s on each project, working on high-performance, privately-owned cloud computing platforms.The business provides a full range of technical,cybersecurity, and DevOps consultingservices, transforming their client’s businesses (including the NHS, Financial, MOD and Retailers) through robust technology, world-class solution engineering, and multi-award-winning customer service.Key Benefits

    • Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable backend systems
  • Automate underlying cloud infrastructure
  • Work with the wider product team to ensure the roadmap is being delivered
  • Build APIs, develop code to a high standard & work with other development teams to share learnings and improvements
  • Be actively involved in proof-of-concept design and build
  • Perform code reviews and assist other developers with their personal development
  • Implement unit testing, CI/CD pipelines to improve the development cycle
    • What you will bring
  • Demonstrable experience using Laravel/Lumen frameworks
  • Experience building secure and scalable RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of Microservice architecture
  • Experience building automation or APIs for a cloud platform would bebeneficial
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, Redis and RabbitMQ
    • Required skills
