Job Description

Mid/Senior Full Stack Developer - £52k - ManchesterA fast-growing and exciting start-up SaaS company are looking for a Mid/Senior Full Stack Developer to join their close knit and growing team! As a Web Developer, youll be working alongside the Head of Product and CTO, creating new and exciting features for customers.Youll play a crucial role in driving the platform forward internationally, and at scale. As products and features mature, they need to have a clear technical future. Critical and first principles thinking will be required when solving problems.Essential:

  • A solid foundation in software development.
  • Degree level qualification in an engineering subject.
  • A demonstrable passion for technology and web development.
  • An agile mindset and good collaboration skills.
  • Strong skills in both object-oriented and functional programming using web technologies.
  • A well-rounded understanding of and significant experience using PHP 7 and Javascript.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of TDD and a test-first approach.
    • Desirable:
  • Experience developing with React, Node
  • Experience developing with Symfony, Doctrine, Pimcore
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix
  • Jira / Confluence / other Atlassian tools
  • AWS and CI/CD knowledge
