Company: Inizio Engage Position: Medical Science Liaison Location: North UK Therapy Area: Dermatology Vacancy Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive Role Summary: Inizio Engage currently have the pleasure of working with a global company with a remarkable trackrecord of achievement, improving patients’ lives with access to affordable medicines, to recruit an MSL for a NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MSL to take on a brand-new role within the company, working within the dermatologyspace and with a product used for the treatment of Acne. This product is the first in a novel category of treatments, with recent approval in the US and it will be your responsibility to shape this new role and launch into your own and start building the foundationsfor a UK launch in towards the end of 2024! Key Responsibilities, but not limited to: * Develop and implement a national medical plan * Identify key opinion leaders and cultivate a network of experts for company areas of focus * Develop a specific KOL developmentplan with specific objectives and actions * Respond to unsolicited requests and engage in meaningful, peer-to-peer scientific exchanges of complex medical and scientific information * Provide internal stakeholders with feedback and insights from interactionsand discussions with HCPs * Deliver medical/scientific presentations to internal & external stakeholders * Lead planning and execution of national advisory boards and scientific meetings * Identify, select and train HCP’s to become scientific speakers forthe Company * Collaborate with cross-functional partners on internal projects and external initiatives * Provide educational meeting support at scientific congresses * Support training of cross-functional teams * Adhere to corporate and healthcare complianceguidance in all activities, including those related to clinical trials, scientific interactions with internal and external groups, and responses to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information * Share key local market insights to aid our EuropeanMedical network * Spread awareness of the company’s products within active institutions * Build organic KOL and Centres of Excellence (COE) relationships * Develop personal relationships with KOLs * Extensive travel is required as part of this position Skills/Knowledge/ Experience Needed * Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant scientific field or associated qualification * Prior experience and advanced knowledge of Dermatology is preferred but not essential * Demonstrable thirst for knowledge (technical, clinical,medical, scientific) with an ability to assimilate information quickly, present clinical data clearly and concisely and discuss the statistical and clinical relevance in line with the clinical development strategy * Demonstrated self-starter and team playerwith strong interpersonal skills * Entrepreneur, energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment * Prior experience working as an MSL * Experience of working within the relevant guidelines & ABPI Background At Inizio Engageyou’ll find a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment, but also one that’s caring, nurturing and supportive.
