Job Title: Medical Sales SpecialistLocation: Field Based (North West)Salary: £204 - £229 UMB / £153.81 - £172.65 PAYE per dayFull Time12-Month Contract, Inside IR35Our client is a leading name in the pharmaceutical industry globally, who are looking to hire a Field Based Medical Sales Specialist to join their team in the North West.Our clients key objective is to help both healthcare professionals and patients achieve improved clinical and health-economic outcomes. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual, and in return will receive a competitive salary and comprehensivebenefits package, and also a recognised product training programme and continuous support to build on your knowledge, skills and potential, helping you prepare for the exciting opportunities for further career development.ResponsibilitiesYou will join a dynamic and specialised sales team and will be responsible for the Point of Care portfolio across the NHS in the north of England. Your role will be to develop and maintain business across the Roche point of care portfolio e.g., ACS, heartfailure, DVT, coagulation, and Blood Glucose. You may also be involved with the support of legacy products and the introduction of high medical value clinical assays applicable to your customers.This is a pivotal role, managing complex relationships across the NHS to promote the Roche portfolio and improve patient care. You will work with customers at all levels from POC Managers, Senior Laboratory leads, Procurement, Clinical leads, SpecialistNurses, and anticoagulation nurses. This unique position offers you full autonomy within the territory to drive sales and deliver your business plans.Its an exciting time to join and promote this portfolio as there are 2 new product launches for Glucose and Ketones within this secondment timeframe.Requirements A proven track record in medical sales would be an advantage. You have strong interpersonal skills, some understanding of the NHS environment and drivers, and the ability to demonstrate some of the following:

  • Knowledge of the structure, needs and agendas of NHS funding systems, payers, and influencers across the NHS
  • High level of intellectual agility
  • Results-focused
  • Convincing presenter, conversing with all levels
