Job Description

Mechanical Project Engineer£40k-£45k Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Pension + Holiday + Benefits. Location - Manchester region.Company:Superb oppportunity to join a Global organisation and Manufacturer within the Waste to Energy and Combustion industries.The Role:

  • As a Mechanical Project Engineer, youll be responsible for managing the development of projects from end to end, which will involve the design, procurement, manufacturing, and testing of mechanical components.
  • Youll be involved in design and detail engineering solutions, attending site and manage all aspects of each project from development through to production.
  • Assist in procurement by providing technical specs for the in-house buyers and provide fabrication drawings to sub-contractors.
  • Advises management of new developments which may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations.
  • Work with R&D / Marketing in the execution and manufacturing of new products.
    • Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Mechanical Engineering Bachelors degree or Masters degree.
  • Must have good experience with AUTOCAD as well as a 3D modelling package, preferably Solidworks or Navisworks.
  • Ideally experience in an ISO9001 compliant environment.
  • Good Word, Excel and Power point experience.
