Job Description

Mechanical Design Draughtsman£38k-£45k Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Pension + Holiday + Benefits. Location - Manchester region.Company:Superb oppportunity to join a Global organisation and Manufacturer within the Waste to Energy and Combustion industries.The Role:

  • As a Design Draughtsman, youll be responsible for creating CAD models, assemblies, drawings and specifications and performing detailed product / design engineering for every phase of a project.
  • Working alongside the project management team and liaising with other members of the engineering teams.
  • Design review processes and evaluating manufacturing estimates.
  • Preparing design calculations and preparing installation instructions for the equipment.
  • Youll be using SolidWorks and Inventor CAD software regularly.
    • Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Youll ideally have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Similar experience in a design and mechanical draughtsman position previously.
  • Must have strong AutoCAD experience as well as a 3D modelling package.
  • Ideally SolidWorks experinece.
  • Ideally experience in an ISO9001 compliant environment.
