Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen to join this dynamic and forward-thinking commercial B2B services organisation that operate in the further education sector. The ideal candidate will be a broad marketer with an appetite to implement the Marketing strategyas well as contribute to its continually evolvement. Working closely with the Sales team you will be responsible for promoting the company activities, drive forward the brand, generate market leads and help obtain new opportunities in new and existing customersand markets.The Job:

  • Create and deliver the marketing strategy in line with the companys business plan.
  • Implementation of marketing activities to deliver the strategy and generate leads for the sales team.
  • Set targets, objectives and key performance indicators for marketing activity in line with the companys business plan.
  • Provide hands on marketing support to the sales team where required.
  • Assist in the communication of the value proposition through proposals, presentations and attendance at events.
  • Research and report on developments in the companys chosen and potential new markets and in relation to competitors, including identifying opportunities and threats.
  • Create, execute all online and print campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain company website and Social media platforms
  • Manage all outsourced marketing relationships (web designer, adwords/ remarketing, PR firm etc)
  • Produce and manage the company podcast programme
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support business initiatives as and when required.
The Person:
  • A proven track record of success in a B2B marketing function.
  • Significant hands-on experience managing Digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • External Agency management
  • Excellent creativity and imagination to bring new ideas into the business.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skill
  • Great Team player and ability to work alone
The role will suit an existing Marketing Manager who is still involved in a hands-on capacity and enjoys this, or a Senior Marketing Executive looking for that step up. In time the position is expected to drive the Marketing strategy and all going well recruita Marketing Executive into the team.
