Job Description

A permanent position, as a Marketing executive, based in ManchesterClient DetailsMy client are one of the countrys leading consumer law firms and have recently been acquired by an affiliate of Sun European Partners LLP, whose focus is on growing their already successful business considerably in the next few years.They are looking for a cycle enthusiast to be part of a thriving internal Marketing Team.DescriptionMain Responsibilities:* Writing case studies: liaising with senior lawyers and clients to develop case studies suitable for media outreach, and to be utilised across our website and social media channels. Must be able to adapt content to suit various channels.* Drafting press releases: writing press releases to promote our cycle case load and work with our external outreach team to ensure they are press-ready and can be circulated to media.* PR support and outreach: supporting our external outreach team and acting as key coordinator between our senior legal team and the media - collating and posing media questions, drafting comments for approval, and working quickly to ensure media placementscan be secured in a timely manner. Ability to manage own outreach a bonus.* SEO content writing: articles and case studies covering the breadth of our cycle case work across multiple brand websites. Content will be written in line with SEO best practice and optimised to suit relevant keywords. Support provided by the Marketing andSEO Executive, but basic SEO knowledge preferred.* Internal communications: Supporting our cycle team in communicating important messages across the business. Comms should be tailored to suit the requirements of each piece of work, whether that be a full communications plan or a single message. The communicationchannel should be chosen to best support the message: Yammer, email, or newsletter. Sometimes, external social media messages will be required.* Developing social media assets: Planning monthly social media messaging to promote our cycle case work and encourage visibility of senior lawyers achievements. Liaising with internal team to ensure assets are in line with monthly social media plan. Abilityto use design software preferred. Ability to use Hootsuite preferred.* Social media commentary: Some support may be required in responding to individual comments across our various branded social media channels. This means ensuring that messages are given an individual response that directly addresses the users needs. Thismay require liaising with team members in other departments to ensure the information being given is correct.ProfileEssential Skills and Experience:* Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships* Experience of interviewing members of the public, ideally about sensitive subject matters* Ability to take notes quickly and develop raw interview into a press release that is enticing for the press* Ability to write raw interview into web-friendly content and shorter, more creative social media assets* Good on-page SEO knowledge* Creative content writing* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure* Ability to use own initiative and network across departments; this is particularly prudent during home working* Ability to engage and manage key stakeholder relationships* Creative and forward thinkingJob OfferA competitive salary based on your experience* A bonus scheme paid twice a year (subject to targets being met)* Pension scheme with tax-efficient salary sacrifice option* 35 days holiday a year including bank holidays from start - and we close for the Christmas break and there is an option to purchase up to 3 extra days holiday per year.
