Job Description

Marketing and Communications ManagerManchester£40-£60kMy client is one of the UKs leading and fastest growing wholesale distributor, with hubs nationwide they are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to work out of their Manchester Head Office.They have a commitment to great service so are looking for the very best person to take on this existing and challenging position.In a nutshell they are looking for someone to develop and execute the companys marketing and creative strategy. Working alongside their Signature brands category managers to create and implement the brand marketing strategies. This is a key leadership roleto develop and support a team of experts ranging from PR & Communications, Design, Events, Social Media Executives and Marketing Executives.If you have a desire to lead a team of creative experts and add true value to a fast growth and entrepreneurial company, this is the role for you.The Role Requirements:

  • Manage all aspects of the marketing and creative function, including, public relations and communications, events, trade marketing, design, and social media
  • Develop and implement the companys marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the Signature Brands team to develop and produce marketing and creative campaigns
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
  • Track and analyse marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints
  • Manage a team of marketing and creative experts, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship
  • Develop and manage projects, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas.
  • Maintain partnerships with agencies and vendors
  • Keep up with new social media sites, web technologies, and marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
The successful individual will understand paid media strategies; including, google shop and ads as well as an excellent understanding of marketing concepts and best practices. You will possess excellent Leadership skills alongside great communication andinterpersonal skills.
