Job Description

Role: Production PlannerLocation: ManchesterEmployment: PermanentIndustry: Engineering/ManufacturingThis is an excellent opportunity to join a global engineering business in the position of Production Planner at an exciting time of growth.This is a busy role that will give you excellent variety in planning activities and will enable you to develop in a well sourced environment.Youll need to be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and a tenacity to manipulate data to ensure production output is planned for and maintained.Duties:

  • Create supply plans in line with manufacturing capacity
  • Maintain continuous supply to achieve agreed KPIs
  • Work closely with Production Supervisors to ensure fluent Supply plan
  • Oversee supply and capacity planning and management processes
  • Develop and execute product demand plans and factory scheduling
  • Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts
  • Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness
Requirements
  • HNC/HNDin a relevant engineering/business subject
  • Knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, procurement or planning.
  • Strong numerical/statistics skills
  • ERP or MPR experience
