Job Description

A Manager opportunity within Corporate Recovery, Restructuring & Advisory at a leading National Advisory Firm, offering career progression and exposure to a wide range of Insolvency, Restructuring and Advisory work.THE COMPANYThis leading Corporate Advisory firm has offices in all major UK cities and an established presence in Manchester and the North of England. Renowned as the leading advisor to distressed SME and Mid-market Corporates, the firm provides a broad range of solutionsincluding Turnaround & Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Formal Insolvency and Corporate Finance / M&A solutions.THE OPPORTUNITYA new opportunity has arisen within the firms Restructuring & Advisory team which would suit either a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or a CPI Qualified Corporate Recovery Administrator experienced in Corporate Insolvency casework. As a Manager withinRestructuring & Advisory your role will involve managing a portfolio of Liquidations and Administrations, and supporting Directors on Restructuring / Advisory projects.As a Manager within the Restructuring & Advisory Team your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and progressing a portfolio of Insolvency cases (Admins, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs etc) and dealing with all aspects of cases from initial instruction through to completion
  • Assisting Directors with Restructuring & Advisory projects (IBRs etc) involving highly-stressed business
  • Handling Business Sale / Disposal and Accelerated M&A transactions

THE PERSONYou will be a Corporate Insolvency or Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or alternatively a CPI Qualified Insolvency professional
  • Background in Accountancy / Advisory or Corporate Insolvency Practice (c.4 - 5 yrs)
  • Good level of knowledge and experience of Administrations and Liquidations
  • A desire to continue developing your experience and career within a leading Corporate Advisory Practice.
