Job Description

Manager opportunity within a leading Corporate Advisory practice offering long-term career progression and involvement in a wide range of corporate finance transactions and advisory projects.THE COMPANYA successful International Advisory Practice renowned for providing Restructuring & Turnaround, Debt Advisory, Due Diligence, Financial Advisory and M&A / Corporate Finance solutions to large corporate businesses.THE OPPORTUNITYA Manager opportunity has arisen within the firms Manchester office which would suit a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or Insolvency / Restructuring Professional with experience in Corporate Recovery and Advisory work.The firm offers great benefits, superb career development and opportunities to progress both within the UK and Internationally longer term.Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Directors and project managing Financial Advisory engagements
  • Working on Accelerated M&A transactions - drafting IMs, dealing with interested parties / potential buyers
  • Managing Trading Administrations
  • Independent Business Reviews
  • Analysing the financial statements and management accounts of distressed businesses, preparing cash flow forecasts and projections
  • Overseeing the work of Associates engaged on Financial Advisory projects

THE PERSONYou will be an Accountancy or Corporate Insolvency / Recovery professional able to demonstrate the following:
  • ACA / ACCA Qualified or alternatively JIEB Qualified Corporate Restructuring professional
  • Background in Top / Mid-Tier Accountancy or Corporate Insolvency Practice (c.3 - 5 yrs)
  • Some knowledge and experience of Administrations
  • A desire to continue developing your experience and career within Corporate Finance / Advisory
