Job Description

We seek a diligent Temporary Management Accountant to join our Technology & Telecoms team based in Didsbury. The role involves implementing cost control measures, preparing financial statements and providing financial advice to management.Client DetailsOur client is a prominent player in the Technology & Telecoms industry. With a workforce of over 200 employees, they have consistently delivered high-quality products and services to their customers, making them a trusted name in the industry. They are aboutto go through an exciting growth phase, moving to brand new offices in Didsbury making it an exciting time to join the business.DescriptionThe Management Accountant role is initially a temporary Assignment which could be extended. The role will be Hybrid with 2/3 days in Didsbury office.Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the revenue recognition policy and schedule for all professional services revenue.
  • Ownership of the T&E policy and systems - ensure full compliance to the policy, bringing any non-compliance to the attention of management.
  • Tracking of all travel expenses within the business to reconcile against travel request forms.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to produce in-month expense forecasts.
  • Assist with foreign subsidiary ledger postings, including managing tax filing requirements in conjunction with third party tax advisors.
ProfileIn Order to apply for the role you should:
  • Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Have previous experience in Assisting in Preparing Management Accounts
  • Be able to commute 2/3 days per week to Didsbury office in Manchester
  • Be able to consider a temporary role initially
